The Finney House is located between Halifax and Millersburg off N River Road. It sits back from the road with a few other homes. The grounds include a small fish pool with a fountain, a hot tub, a sauna, ample parking, and is landscaped with seasonal flowers and shrubbery. Town parks, local dinning and shopping, a golf course, and access to the Susquehanna River are all within a 5-10 minute drive.

Guests have access to the front entryway and stairway, suite, shared hot tub and sauna, all outdoor spaces, and laundry room upon request.

Good to know

Enjoy this fully furnished 210 sq ft suite for a refreshing time away! Suite 103 is located on the 2nd floor of the front side of the house. It includes a queen bed, full bath, fully stocked kitchenette, a fold down table with chair, and a small loveseat. All bed/bath linens, soaps, coffee, tea, kitchen basics, and paper products provided. Iron and ironing board available upon request.

Pets are welcome with a $40 pet fee. Please add all pets to reservation when booking. Located within an hour of Hershey Park, Lake Tobias, Fort Hunter, and Little Buffalo State Park.

This is our second time staying here at the finney house and many more visits to come! It is so beautiful in this area and the property itself is stunning! You will be greeted by two loving cats, Daniel and Tessa when you arrive and walking up to the entrance and inside will feel just like home. Next time I hope to stay longer. Couldn’t leave without ordering a sweatshirt and tshirt. It was so nice meeting Chris! You can just see the amount of love him and his family have for the property and visitors.

Very clean, clear instructions, only two negatives, it said it had an iron and didn’t and the bed comfort was just okay but the cleanliness and quietness made up for that. I would recommend and stay again.

We loved staying here! The house and grounds were beautiful. We were only here for one night, but definitely want to return for a longer stay. Christopher was an excellent host! Lots of communication and helpful instructions. Highly recommended!

The Finney House was a wonderful place to stay for our anniversary getaway! The room was lovely. Chris and his children were in the yard when we arrived and they gave us a nice greeting. They’ve done a top notch job with finishes in the room and the whole house. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning as well. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A Wonderful, Peaceful Stay We had such a lovely time at Finney House! The place was peaceful and beautiful. The suite was thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed. The room felt cozy, well‑decorated, and clearly cared for. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, with clear instructions and quick replies to every question. They truly went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They mentioned they aim for 5‑star service, and they absolutely delivered. A delightful stay — we’d happily return.
